P-hus Asger Jorn
The parking garage is built in 2025.
It was designed by Nordland Architects and contains a total of 616 parking spaces, including 13 disabled parking spaces and 5 for handicap buses. The building itself is a step toward sustainable urban development, featuring a recycling station at ground level, making it easy for local residents to drop off sorted waste and recyclable materials.
The parking garage meets the growing parking needs in the area and provides suitable facilities for both drivers and people with reduced mobility.
With its combination of parking, recycling station, rooftop garden, and facade made from local natural materials, P-hus Asger Jorn represents an important step toward more climate-friendly infrastructure in Ørestad.
Automatic Camera Parking
The parking garage features a camera-based payment system, ANPR.
ANPR stands for Automatic Number Plate Recognition, also known in some contexts as Pay by Plate.
ANPR payment is now a well-known and widely used system in the parking industry.
ANPR cameras are installed at the entry and exit points of the parking garage.
They automatically read and identify the vehicle’s license plate, and the parking session starts and ends automatically.
